VNC desktops

Linux desktops, Macs and devices that speak VNC open in the same kind of tab as RDP.

1
+ → Desktop → VNC: host and port (5900). Pasting a vnc://host:port address fills the form.
2
Password: the server's VNC password, kept in the Keychain.
3
User, for a Mac: its own account and password, as Screen Sharing asks for them. Left empty, only the VNC password is sent — a Mac then needs "VNC viewers may control screen with password" on in System Settings → General → Sharing → Screen Sharing.

The desktop follows the tab's size when the server allows it (TigerVNC and most Linux servers do); otherwise it scales to fit. Keyboard and mouse work as in an RDP tab, and Send Ctrl+Alt+Del is in the status bar. Text copied on the remote desktop lands on the Mac's clipboard; what the Mac copied goes over when the tab takes focus — as plain Western (Latin-1) text, the only text VNC carries. Sound, microphone, camera and shared folders are RDP-only.
