Updates

Settings → About shows whether this is the newest build. Check for updates asks shellden.com; a newer build downloads with Download and installs with Restart to update.

Download quietly, install on relaunch (on by default) checks at launch and every few hours and downloads by itself; a small notice then offers Restart to update, and its × puts it away until the next build.
Stable or Beta: beta builds reach accounts marked as beta testers; every other computer stays on stable.
Every build is signed; one that does not verify is never installed.
