Questions
Is Free a trial?
No. Free has no time limit and needs no account: up to 10 hosts with every connection type, for good.
What happens offline?
Pro keeps working for 14 days without internet, then falls back to Free. Nothing is ever locked: the app, the terminal and every saved host still open.
What about a fourth computer?
The app lists the three in use; removing one takes a click, there or in the account.
How does cancelling work?
From the account, at any time. Pro lasts until the paid period ends; then the computer returns to Free with every host intact.
Does the assistant cost extra?
It runs on an API key from the provider, billed by that provider. Shellden adds no fee and sees nothing; a local model costs nothing.
How is payment handled, and are there invoices?
Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and local methods on Stripe's checkout. Stripe is the merchant of record: it charges the tax and emails a receipt and a PDF invoice for every payment, also listed in the account. Card details never reach Shellden; card statements read LINK.COM*.
